This website was built and exists as an economic development tool to help introduce our businesses to those looking to do business in Northeastern Minnesota. By working together as Northeastern Minnesota businesses, each contributing a small amount annually to the project we can make this site self-sustaining. The annual fee also eliminates the need to seek grants every year to keep the site operational and expanding.

The annual participation fee has been set to $120.00.

Who May Participate:
To participate in the Building Northeastern Minnesota Project, your business must be located in either Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake or St. Louis counties of Minnesota and your business must be of a type listed on the current business types list. If you don't see your company type listed, and wish to participate you may request to have your company type added to the list. If we add it, we will email you to let you know so you can bring your company onboard. Click here to request a new business type be added to the list..

Modes of Payment and Participation Code Acquisition:
To make it easy for companies to participate in this project, business participation codes can be received and annual participation fee can be paid in several ways.

• In Person:
  You can stop by CMS Design Inc in Aurora and speak with Mr. Dave Hughes or stop by Northern Visual Services also in Aurora and speak with Mr. Edward Addy. They can issue you your business participation code, receive your annual participation fee payment and answer any questions you may have.
  
  
• By Phone:
  During business hours, you can request a business participation code by calling the project's Membership Administrator, Mr. Dave Hughes at his office 218-229-2026 or his cell phone 218-290-2442, or by calling Mr. Edward Addy at his office 218-229-2887 or his cell phone 218-780-7184.

  They will issue you your business participation code when you call. You will then have 10 days to get your check for the annual participation fee to the project via the mailing address provided below.
  
  

• By Mail:
  If you wish, you may mail your annual participation fee to the address below and request a business participation code. Your participation code will be mailed to you within 10 days from the date your letter is received.
  
  Make checks payable to CMS Design Inc., with Building Northeastern Minnesota Project in the checks comment field and mail to:
